Skolt Saami Cultural Foundationʼs Sääʹmpääʹljes project has started – Mirkka Ollila elected as a project worker
The Finnish Cultural Foundation granted the Skolt Saami Cultural Foundation 80,000 euros for a project called Sääʹmpääʹljes, which aims to define the situation of the Skolt Saami language and the conditions for using the language in Finnish society. The project started 28th of April 2025.
The new Board of the Skolt Saami Cultural Foundation has begun its work
The new board of the Skolt Saami Cultural Foundation met for the first time on March 6, 2025. In the 2025–2028 term, Heidi Hänninen will continue as the Chair of the board and Veikko Feodoroff, the Skolt Saami Trustee, will continue as the Vice Chair.
